About Us

Foundhouse is a small shop with a simple job: find the things worth buying, and leave everything else out.

We're Riley and Jen. We buy every product we sell — with our own money, from the makers and small brands who produce it — and we live with it for weeks before it ever gets a listing. Most things don't survive that. The ones that do go up on Friday.

How it works

Four to six new products go live every Friday at 9am. If you're on our email list, you see them Thursday and can buy before anyone else. The list is free and always will be.

The shop never closes. Only the drops end. When something sells out, we say so, and you can tell us you want one — that's how we decide what comes back.

Where the products come from

Most of what we sell we buy wholesale, direct from the maker. Some come from people we know personally — friends, studios we've visited, brands we've followed for years. Every product page names who made it and where. No brand has ever paid to be here, and no one can.

The rules we don't break

• We buy it before we sell it.
• We test it long enough to have an opinion.
• We say who made it.
• We say no far more often than yes.
